I'm conflicted, they definitely could have done a lot worse, but casting a woman built like Gumby feels like a missed opportunity. It's not just the coomer in me either - there are gonna be obvious feminist/women empowerment undertones throughout this movie, and I actually think having at least some curvaceousness serves that symbolism a lot better than Margot's fridge build. I'm not even a footfag but she does have great feet, so it's not a total loss.
I'm still gonna set my expectations low for coomer service scenes. Downsizing scarred me. At least it will be Burtonkino

The original film is kinda shit, not really worth a watch. The poster is literally the best thing about it. The 1993 remake isn't fantastic either, but it leans more into the schlock of the concept, is more tongue in cheek, has more comedic side characters, etc. It's probably not worth watching either, but it's fun enough over a few beers with friends. Bonus points if you're into giant women.
