Unironically an all-time great marketing feat to fool normalfags into going to see this arthouse non-horror movie in droves by making it out to be the next Silence of the Lambs. but The Monkey was a big success even though everyone knew what to expect from him so I guess people are just Ozpilled now.

I saw it months after the initial release. I enjoyed it but idk why it generated so much discourse, both positive and negative, it's just a solid horror flick

>arthouse
I didn’t know it was normal for arthouse movies to just info dump and exposition dump the entire mystery at the end FOR retards

There’s a scene where a victim is killed on the second floor of a house and the detectives are examining it and one of them goes “it’s like…like whoever did this had long legs or somethin and just walked through the window.”

I had to watch this movie in 2 separate viewings, I can’t believe Cage over-acting as a tranny was the only entertaining and worthwhile parts of this movie

he also mentions at the beginning that he wore his "long legs" today (he is just regular height though)

every single Osborne Cobblepot movie sucks

it's not scary to show the devil's shadow

It's weird how Maika Monroe is simultaneously so trashy and so hot in everything she's in. Weird face. Weird expressions. Her voice is weird too like she has some kind of speech impediment. But I want to date her. Why?
