Renew, NOW

( But honestly, I would appreciate it being kept more down to earth. Avoiding all this soap style, cheap comedy and flat jokes.)

Jewel was still so cute on Atlantis. I wish I didn't have to see her hideous bog visage in another episode of Resident Alien. At least it will probably be the last anyway.

Not sure you could make anything good with Stargate now, monster of the week is never going to happen again with modern budgets.

As much as I want this to actually get a real ending and how I'm fucking upset that this got cancelled for the fucking dogshit that is SGU.

This anon is right. A modern Stargate anything would be trash.

Man, I'd eat up these Syfy-type shows. Stargate, Farscape, etc. Their "B-level" productions exuded charm and soul.

Of all the Stargate shows, SGU would be the easiest to restart.
>Eli does what he needs to do and fixes his pod
>after he goes to sleep, there's some unexpected problem with the pods
>it doesn't fully freeze their aging like it should, so everyone has experienced 15 years worth of aging during the course of the trip
>the characters of any actors who can't return could just stay in their pods for reasons
>everything picks up in the next galaxy like they were planning to do

the comedy was half the show, without it would just have been another average sci fi flick

That Eli's actor got thin works into the story too. They'd need a way to bring in some more characters to replace those whose actors don't return but I guess the crew size was large enough that they could pick up with some of them.
>>212984293
Easy enough to come up with an explanation like it only works in galaxies that already have been seeded with gates.
