Saw a rough cut of the Masters of the Universe trailer and holy crap, it's looking wild.
>The trailer’s about 3 minutes long, it kicks off with this female voiceover, probably He-Man’s mom, talking about the “Age of Heroes” on Eternia. We get quick shots of Man-At-Arms, King Randor, Fisto, and Stratos just going to fight on some evil warriors.
>Then it cuts to young Adam in a city that feels kinda like New York, he’s messing around with swords with some kids, and the voiceover says, “You’re a hero too.” It’s a nice little nod to his journey.
Fast forward to adult Adam, running through the city with Teela, trying to escape Beast Man, just when it looks like they’re done for, Battle Cat shows up and absolutely wrecks Beast Man. Then this massive portal opens up and they’re transported to Eternia.
>Eternia looks insane, like massive mountains, crazy desert landscapes, and these castles that look straight out of a fever dream. Plus, we get a shot of Snake Mountain, and it looks as dark and twisted as you'd expect, like straight out of a nightmare.
>Adam gets captured by Skeletor’s forces, and we don’t see him fully, but you hear his voice, it’s creepy as hell, and you get flashes of his skull face, it’s dark and sinister.
>There’s a ton of action shots around Castle Grayskull, we see the bad guys: Mer-Man, Spikor, Beast Man, Triclops, and Evil-Lyn, and they look wild, like they just stepped out of a toy box.
>We also get a few glimpses of some iconic vehicles like Land Shark is there, tearing through the terrain, and there are these crazy slinging vehicles that look like they’re built for battle.
>Then we finally get a shot of He-Man, all suited up and ready to go, sword in hand, looking every bit the hero. The trailer ends with a final shot of Skeletor, his skull face glowing, eyes burning with malice. It’s menacing.
