Everyone in that webm is doing pretty good with exception of Spoony, though. Doug is still going strong with every NC video racking up at least 100k+ views, con appearances, the Smiling Friends cameo and has redeemed himself to many who used to make fun of him. Linkara, while not nearly as successful, still makes a living on YT and has his loyal legion of Patreon paypigs who will continue to give him money until either of them die. Latza has an actual career in Hollywood doing what he loves.

It's a real shame because Spoony was clearly the most "talented" of all of them and could be doing just as well if he put in even an ounce of effort. But hey, there's still a little over 4 months to make 2025 the Year of the Spoony!

Admittedly, it has been *checks* nine years since his last review, and it's coming up on three since he teased that he wants to get back to doing them. On the other hand…he *has* said that he wants to do them again, and he's still around/streaming. And we're talking about the entire remainder of his life. And it's possible to prevaricate/not be in the mood for video-making for ages, only to suddenly be inspired and get cracking again (it's happened to me a few times). So on balance I reckon he will eventually produce something. Whether he can be funny any more… That's the real question. My theory is that his (or his last girlfriend's) politics have caused him to self-censor when it comes to anything remotely edgy (and on some level maybe he realises this), and that's why he's struggling to write a decent script for that D&D review, which ought to be pretty fucking easy. Or he's just monumentally lazy.
