every current tv show sucks. theres not a single ongoing live action show worth watching. all the most popular current shows are trash, television in 2025 is essentially dead. whats the solution here?

Watch vikings out of curiosity and heard the first few seasons were good. It turns to shit the moment Ragna dies in a retarded way and everything after that is retarded bullshit of the lowest quality.

Watch Last Kingdom because first season was kino. It turns to shit mid point then goes full retard once on Netflix pushing disabled and blacks. Then finding out the main writer has a self obsession with himself thinking hes Uhtred.

Watch mandalorian. Its actually good and should of just ended with season 2. Instead they brought it back and slowly ruined everything they spent 2 seasons working on.

Watch Andor - season 1 is kino aside from kid flash backs. Season 2 is just rushed garbage that has paid shills biging it up claiming its epic cinema when it's just shit for small minded simpletons.
Ends badly and made me wonder wtf was the point.

The only kino show I've seen in the past 20 years involves a man working on a farm showing how hard it is to actually be a farmer and showing all the difficulty you face

Nah. They mismanaged it from the very beginning. Instead of having overarching stories that end up paying off in the book of boba fett, just create a serialized space western where they go on different adventures every week. As long as you have a stable of generic sci-fi stories, your show can run indefinitely. I don't think a single fucking person gives a single fucking shit about a dark saber. Light sabers were already badass enough. Making this one dark adds nothing.

You need to find your own journey and purpose in life. I can't tell you what to do. You can get to the stage where going for a walk outside is all you need to find peace of mind and happiness

I personally have things that I work towards to give me a sense of purpose and achievement. I still consume media but very sparingly and it still doesn't feel as exciting as when you were younger and they were still producing stuff with passion

I think a lot of people need to cut out everything in their life to find what they truly want to do and be. Otherwise your whole life is just consuming other people's own stories and products.
