I don't tip (I'm from Europe)
I only tip if the boy serving me is hot
I don't quip (I'm from /lit/)
I'm european and tip anyway because it makes me feel good :)
some americans were to visit here in europe
we dont really tip, but we do tend to round up
people here take strange pride in not tipping
convinced them not to tip after a restaurant stayed opened extra time
like FFS its one thing, no to tip on your daily routine for normal stuff
but its not the same if its an event and you are getting extra
>>213018043 (OP)Do Europeans really take offense when you tip them? Why would you be opposed to more money?
Most people in Europe do tip at non-fast food restaurants.
>>213018043 (OP)They just add the tip to the bill now.
>>213018235No, they tip, voluntarily. It's hard for me to even imagine the sort of subhuman who wouldn't. Not sure where this meme came from. Do Americans tip at McDonalds or something?
>>213018191Because you're opposed to the practice. The food prices account for all the costs and salaries.
>I buy into a system where I directly pay the wages of a business and I'm framed as the villain if I don't and the employer just gets off scott free
>>213018191No not at all, itโs just that itโs not that common to tip because they get payed
>>213018401This I get
>>213018389This feels like the equivalence of finding 5 dollars on the ground and getting mad about it
>>213018043 (OP)>Visiting Europe (Ireland) right now>Go to cafe>They flip screen and itโs for tipping optionsWhy do people lie online?
