I finished Squid Game and they've given away that the next season (spin-off series?) is going to take place in America and I'm dreading that. It's going to be full of POC's, gays, have even more trannies, and you already know that all of the villainous-type of players will be straight white men. It's going to be awful.

It's going to fail because part of what made the show compelling were the fixtures of Korean society that people were not familiar with, but could empathize with. The uniqueness of their children's games and songs associated with them. If some of those songs didn't stick with you, you probably didn't watch it.

Unfathomably wrong. It was compelling because it was a death game and audiences fucking love that shit. Same reason Battle Royale and Hunger Games were successes. As long as they keep the violent quasi-horror aspect, viewers will continue to watch it.

Rate my idea for an american squid game game lads...

Whack a mole:
Players are separated in groups of 10, one of them is randomly selected as the leader and others are place in 9 holes where they can randomly go up and down in a perfect position to be hit by a giant hammer. The point is to follow a pattern and if the leader screws up then the players in the pattern are crushed to death. If the leader screws up 3 times then he will be crushed and a random player from the people in the hole is selected as the new leader. Game ends when only 3 players remain alive.
