Why? There is no ending. It feels like a backdoor pilot to a tv-show

nope. tv series would be a bit too much for me now unless it's really good.

incredibly engaging theme, very well executed. yeah the ending felt lazy even if it's obvious what they did there.

I know it's a hard sell, especially on /tv/ since it seems that everyone pretends to hate it now (even though everyone here loved it as it aired), but Mr. Robot is the closest TV has gotten to actual cinema. It's a very rare case in the sense that it's one continuous story that was planned out from beginning to end
Email's direction (every episode starting from S2 until the very end) is crazy good and probably the most creative on TV and Rami Malek is the best lead I've ever seen in a show.
I will say that S1 is a bit of a double edged sword, you'll either think it's too pseud and dismiss it as a silly or you'll think it's awesome but then get thrown off by the direction of the rest of the show. Rest assured that all of that serves a point and it's a lot smarter than it lets itself. It's 100% at least worth trying if you liked Leave the World Behind. If there's one time for you to trust an anon, it's now.

Mr Robot is only outdone in terms of huffing its own farts by DEVS.

What a terrible flick
Obama fingerprints all over it, understandable seeing as how he got the Netflix deal exclusively to distribute agitprop but my god thereโ€™s no fucking ending itโ€™s a movie devoted to rug pulls.
The scene where Dem Keeeds runs away from the plane crash should get a razzie

there's a few films like this but they're more or less the exact same and they have little to no payoff. so much so that i can't remember the name. just go on chatgpt and ask for films similar to thsi one and you'll find it.
