It's not like Casino Royale was an original creation by Barbara and Wilson, or any of the scriptwriters. Fun fact: the same people that wrote the script for Die Another Die wrote Casino Royale. They simply had source material that was of higher quality than they could produce by themselves.

I don't hate DAD, it has Brosnan at his darkest in the first part of the film and it just becomes MOONRAKER-tier crazy as the film progresses. All part of a big 40 year anniversary of the film series from what I understand. Lots of call-backs, race-swapping DNA modification, it's fucking nuts.

They need to either put the series to bed or just straight up adapt the books properly.
