I'm going to watch it because I like Noah Hawley and I like Alien but the trailers are not inspiring any confidence so far. It doesn't really look like Alien (or even Prometheus) outside of some specific shots. It has that generic sci-fi show look almost like the Halo or Dune TV show.
Like we have an established look for the Aliens marines but they have generic sci-fi armor for that guys.
