I'm more offended by the fact that they portrayed Apu as being kind and intelligent as it's so clearly a false representation of Indian immigrants in this country. I worked as a barista at Starbucks last year in a suburb of Dallas, TX (now one of the biggest hotspots for Indian immigration in the entire U.S. if you didn't know) and let me tell you, they were some of the meanest, dumbest people that I had the misfortune of interacting with on a daily basis. The black customers were a close second to the worst. Whites and hispanics and east Asians always treated me well.

Apu? Apu was cheap and a LIAR. Api knowingly sold meat off the floor that made his customers deathly ill. He sold tickets to observe a frozen (presumed dead) geezer in his freezer. He also called the police on and pressed charges on Marge Simpson, mother of three, good person to all. A person he had known for over a decade. Homert and Apu were even in a band together (canon?) yet he sent Marge to jail. Do you know how cruel jail and prison are? For crying out loud, positive stereotype? Apu is a piece of SHIT.
