I really don't understand your criticism of the film being misstructured when the film is pretty straight forward and moves at a brisk pace, unlike Superman which jumps all over the place. First we follow Superman, then Enginner, then Lex, then Lex and the leader of Boravia then Jimmy Olsen with the Eve subplot, its way more convoluted than you give credit for, especially compared to F4, which all you need to know is that they are the heroes of this 60s world. that's it. Compared to Superman dealing with all that, and the justice gang AND the boravia and jahnpur subplot

Superman felt so vapid, like watching a commercial for the future of the DCU, F4 felt tight and contained.

the movie should have started with Pedro already knowing planets were being destroyed (based on astronomy) and being concerned but not why. then the pregnancy reveal. then you have enough tension to do some establishing of the F4 instead of it feeling like the movie hasn't started until the surfer arrives. instead the movie wastes 15 minutes telling us what a superhero is.

the whole section where (for no reason) they tell Earth about how Galactus just wants their kid was forced drama. people would just storm their building, but it seems like the F4 are literally the rulers of earth or something? Sue gives a speech and its as if they never revealed it to anyone.
