Should have been Breaking Bad 2, with Jesse and Walt Jr.

My guess it's that this is going to be a more kid friendly version of the movie The Sadness (because brainlet Vince has never read Crossed)
It's a virus that makes people happy in some fucked up way that makes them do fucked up things and spread the virus.

It will flop hard because it will be nothing like Breaking Bad and it will be too PG to satisfy the Crossed audience.
There is a small chance that this may capture the Walking Dead audience and become a big hit, but I wouldn't count on it.

Same tagline and smiley branding as a YA sloppa book which is about happiness literally being contagious and the evil government trying to stop the spread.
But then again the book was published earlier this year, which makes it unlikely that the show could be based on it.
