Pretty sure it was good because itโ€™s the only show Iโ€™ve ever enjoyed watching

Only the pilot was good and the hope of the rest of the series being good carried it all the way to 6 seasons

Only cool for perhaps 30-minutes of runtime. (I assume, I only allowed it to troll me for like a season and a half.)

Season 1 was interesting, but the gimmick of flashbacks constantly gets old, when you watch it chronologically it really shows that the writers don't have the talent for suspense and intrigue. The only way they know to keep the audience's attention is by witholding information by going to commercials or a boring flashback.

LOST is the most overrated show on this board.
Just a bunch of mystery box bullshit and one of the worst and most cliche endings possible.
The fact that LOSTards can never explain why the actual show was good but deflect to vague nonsense like "you had to be there" and "muh discussions" prove how awful this show was.

Yeah, it was good. It had some shortcomings and the story got a little screwy sometimes but the good outweighed the bad. Worth a watch.

Did anyone else find Kate so annoying that you actually weren't even attracted to her? This is seriously impressive imo considering how hot she is. Claire was still attractive despite being also incredibly annoying

It's a good show. It takes a little while to get rolling, which is especially unfortunate in a show with 24-episode seasons, but by season 2 and especially 3 it's pretty much a premier example of an ensemble cast done right.

>>213065276
Claire is among the worst characters in the entire show.

It was good for its time. The non linear story telling was avante guard for its time.

Telling two parallel stories where the lesson the character learns in the B plot gives them the wisdom and character traits tonsolve their problem in the A plot is very hard to pull off from a screenwriting perspective. And the fact the show pulled it off for like 75% of the episodes was very very impressive.

Lost was the first TV show that I ever watched that was not episodic. Meaning TV shows back in the day used to be individual stories without everything being connected. Like you could pick up with an X-Files episode and not have to have watched all the X-Files from before to know what happened. But Lost was the first TV show I ever watched where everything was this big story where you kept watching to see how it ended.
