I didnt even watch this trailer when it dropped because i thought it would just be bullshit like the last one they did but this...this actually looks decent. Casting is great (except for Jade, wtf man) and they seem to be taking it seriously. I still don't like the costumes for Scorp and Sub but that's minor. This should be a lot better than the last and that's a step in the right direction.

The old Mortal Kombat kitana IS prudish as fuck, the suit is unsexy, it's nonsensical, it's not even theme-accurate or even movie-accurate, it's fucking cheap plastic, it covers a lot of skin, not even the color is right, it's not sexy nor regal, it was fucking absolute trash.
That being said:
1-The movie had other characters that were pitch perfect and even better than the game, it didn't got sold in 1 ass
2-Kitana is barely a character on the movie
So you can argue that 1 female that didn't cut the part, doesn't detract from a great 10 man show.

The consensus is that Johnny Cage is 55 and Scorpion's design is shit. His headpiece looks like some kind of wizard hood and there's too little yellow color in his design. The movie also feels marvel-ish capeshit which means tongue-in-cheek scripts and lots of quips
