This fear has always been unfounded because they rely a lot on the international box office to make a profit, and that means selling the movies in territories where that shit is not allowed or not popular. Which means mostly China but also Russia and the Middle East.
That's why all the gay content in these movies so far has been extremely minor stuff that can be easily cut or dubbed over for foreign markets, like that guy in Cap's support group in Endgame who says he went on a date with another guy. And they haven't touched trannies. One actor isn't gonna change that.
