He's been consistently working since but everything he's done just hasn't really taken off. Muppets, Sex Tape, Five Year Engagement. No box office hits and all kind of forgettable. End of the Tour was good but virtually no one saw that.
He has his show on Apple now and I'm sure he's wealthy so that's a pretty decent, if unremarkable career. Comedy movies dying is probably the defining factor in him not being in more of them. They just don't make them anymore.
