>sends a death squad to a foreign nation to murder its leader
CAUSE I'M A PUNK ROCKER YES I AM
>>213071641 (OP)if he's such a "nice guy" then why doesn't he go over to Gaza and stop the genocide?
>>213071693My thoughts exactly
Felt unearned that he started all this shit and left it for the Justice Gnag to solve
He didnt even show up
Honestly the 3rd act was way too cramped
>I know you won't kill me! You a hero like Superman
>I... am a hawk too, ahh!
>>213071693Can't stop what's not happening.
>>213071693>>213071758He did though? That's the literal plot anons. He WAS going to other nations and stopping the genocide and invasion of other countries. The only reason he couldn't do it at the end of the movie was because Lex forced him to go to Metropolis and save the city from being destroyed. If Superman had the time, he WOULD'VE saved that third world country, but he couldn't, that's why he called in help
>>213072035Palestinians are the real holocaust survivors
>>213072035wow you're really going to win back the hearts and minds with that verbal IQ
>>213072253Being kind does not mean being a pushover. If you stand for nothing, you stand for the enemy.
>>213071641 (OP)Hawkgirl isnโt Superman
>>213071641 (OP)Considering Gunn wants to make something related to the Authority at some point. Seems his current end game from this is doing either Superman vs the Authority or I guess a soft adaption of Absolute Power
>>213072748I expect something like Kingdom Come or Superman vs the Elite
>>213072775Well the Elite were based on the Authority, so Gunn might just go to using the Authority instead since they've already got the Engineer on screen.
>>213071641 (OP)i want to fugg skyler gisondo
>>213072638it's not happening in the Superman universe you buttmad muzzie
>>213071693>if he's such a "nice guy" then why doesn't he go over to Gaza and stop the genocide? He did it one time, just before the beginning of the movie and when he was needed to help Terrific close the "reality rift" or whatever the fuck it was called, pic related. And seeing Guy Gardner kill dozens or maybe hundreds of Israeli soldiers is VASTLY more satisfying. Sups wouldn't have killed anyone.
Also, if Superman hadn't stayed in Metropolis the "rift" would have destroyed the whole planet, so he stopped the genocide a second time.
>>213071641 (OP)"Why don't you just put the whole world in a bottle, Superman?"
>>213071641 (OP)is this an attempt o make Superman look bad?
this is 4chan, half of the regular posters here would probably volunteer to be on an actual IRL death squad.
>>213074083I thought Green Lanterns couldn't kill people without special permission?
>>213074083anon the soldiers just got knocked around a little bit and maybe concussion from being in a smashed tank.
>>213074257no person would survive any of that
>>213074224Wasn't an issue when they killed the Kaiju
>>213074299so can they or can't they?

All Space Cops Are Bastards
When you actually put some thought on it, you realize how childish this movie really is. Superheroes just going around killing political leaders, engaging in volatile conflicts and then just leaving the region torn from their actions. I mean, I hate to be that guy, but Superman and the Justice Gang are the embodiment of America in this movie. This whole "fuck yeah, we're so punk rock and kind. We go to foreign nations, kill their bad leaders and go back home. Deal with the aftermath of destabilizing the region? What the hey, where's my hecking pupperino?!"
It's a child's mentality and a perfect example of the liberal millenial mind.
>>213074328In the comics, the limitation has been lifted sometimes, like during the Sinestro Corps war, where deadly force was necessary. Technically there isn't a limitation to begin with, but you could get dishonorably discharged.
When an alternate version of Batman got a ring, he killed Joe Chill without any repercussions.
