His other movies are pretty funny but a lot rely on already being a fan of the thing he's parodying
you get more out of Blazing Saddles if you already liked old westerns, Young Frankenstein if you already liked Universal monster movies, and Spaceballs if you were a Star Wars nerd

The scene in Blazing Saddles where mel brooks put himself in the movie and tried to act "funny" and all he did is say dumb shit and go cross-eyed, was so maddening i had to turn it off.

Dracula Dead and Loving it is not his best in my opinion, however the scene where they stake Lucy in the crypt is one of the funniest scenes in any of his movies. Also there’s some top shelf tits in that movie so it gets a regular rewatch from me.
