To be fair, they were running thin on race car storylines. We were approaching another film about Danica heroically wrecking cars in a victory for women's inclusion in everything, and neither of us wanted that.

Both had their high and low points, but both were at least 7.5, maybe 8 if you enjoy fun movies, which you clearly do not.

Youโ€™re right I was being a bit too unfair. I just didnโ€™t care for Krypto interrupting Lexโ€™s speech

I unironically get the feeling they're dropping another pandemic in 2028 with how many high profile movies they're dumping in 2027, feels like a grand finale akin to 2019.

The low point of Fantastic Four was Galactus reaching our Star System in about a month from somewhere in the galaxy, then taking a week to get from Jupiter to Earth while everyone built space gates.
Low point for Superman is supes fighting so sloooowwly that Luthor's remote team has time to shout fighting moves to Ultraman in real time.

Although as a caveat, I will admit that super-reaction time is gay and game breaking and always ends up being ignored anyway.

2030 is when they actually start using highly advanced tech given by higher dimensional entities to bend the world to their whim. Itโ€™s going to be so fucking kino, the bad guys are too powerful and cool i just accept fate and watch in awe.

Nah, They were both mid at best. Which one is better than the other is more up to audience preferences. They didn't do anything too superior to one another that the gap of which one is better is that huge.

Fantastic Four peaked too early, the first contact with Galactus and the ensuing escape was the high point of the movie.
Superman kept rubbing our faces in JUSTICE FOR GAZA and it kept bringing down the whole thing.
Both had a goodly dose of BLACK WOMAN REACTION SHOT, and apparently saving a smoll girl from a big falling object is an obligatory cape trope at this point.

Baby Franklin does a Huge Jackedman on the FF movie, from the moment he pops out, the ENTIRE movie revolves around him. No one develops any more character, it's all "how do the react to Franklin doing this or that". The villains are entirely motivated by him even before he is born.
The only scene that isn't revolving around Franklin is Johnny hammering the Surfer with guilt recordings.

What's the best way to kill capeshit unironically? How do we stop these movies from being made altogether?
