First time I saw it I was home from school sick as shit with the flu, and this came on tv and I thought it was the coolest shit.
Also brian blessed in his weird bird man costume hamming it up is just burnt in my brain forever.

This movie helped me understand why Star Wars was so revolutionary.

It's intentionally cheesy in a way that I thought was not earnest, and the plot is so improbable I started disassociating halfway through it. Granted, I had smoked a heroic amount of weed prior to the last time I watched it 12 years ago on a VHS tape I found at thn thrift store, so my memory of it may be hazy.

Used to know a very old boy who moved in what you could call "backstage techie" circles. Had a story that BRIAN quickly cottoned on to the movie living or dying by the effects. So he basically took the crew out on a massive bender, and they'd do anything for him after that. Don't know if actually true but I do hope it is.
