Had In-N-Out in Palm Springs earlier this month
I mean it was $10 for a double burger meal and that's about as much praise I can give it. It's better than McDs or BK but that's a low bar to clear. Whataburger is clearly superior. Hell Five Guy's clears.

Fives Guys is better than all these places listed ITT. It's a massive step-up from chain slop like Wendy's, BK and McD's. It's just extremely overpriced, but the quality is staggeringly higher than the aforementioned burger joints.

I had a five guys recently after not eating fast food for around 6 months and it was awful. Burger was dry as shit and the fries were terrible. It reminded me that all fast food is disgusting.

My opinion has flipped. I like In-N-Out for what it is, but it's a one-trick pony. Five Guys has a broader menu that is more appealing more often. The best items at Five Guys are the oddball menu items no one talks about. BLT, grilled cheese, and hot dog. The bacon in the BLT is always crispy and usually generous. The grilled cheese is made with a ton of butter and American, and the foil keeps it warm and gooey even if it's delivered. The hot dog is butterflied and good quality with interesting options for toppings.
