It's not everytime they have dialogue. They keep their masks on when they are fighting, and take them off when they are talking. It's not weird.
Human faces show emotion and humour, but masks don't. It's much easier to deliver dialogue with a face exposed.

It's not people who watch movies, it's the actors. Actors are brands. Their face is part of their brand. They negotiate contracts where they ask for a certain amount of screen time with their face shown. No mask also makes production easier as you're not constantly fighting to get voice lines and your character can have actual facial expressions.

Deadpool, for example, is a CG mask so they could get expressions. Reynolds would sometimes act in a prop mask that had tracking for the animations. In that case the actor was fine with the mask and they were willing to work around the mask. These productions are so big that most of the time the studio doesn't really think it's worth it.

Spider-Man can show expression even with his mask on, like DP.

And there's no need to remove masks while speaking with friendlies, that's dumb. Spidey and DP have the same masked expressions.
