The show girls is quite funny until you have the horrible realization about 3 episodes in that you're not supposed to hate the characters and cheer their deaths like a horror movie, you're supposed to kind of 'relate' to them.
And also you may realize the character you did like is just Sam Hyde (acted out by Adam Driver) who you already have seen many times. It's not even an amusing 'coincidence' that Lena's writing of an antiheroic male character acts just like a guy you like, it actually is him since her best friend dated Sam and told Lena the stuff that he says/does

I always find this weird. I eat a ton now and then, fluctuate in weight a little bit but I never fucking triple in size like these people. How does it even happen?
