Also have to wonder what Spielberg would've done with a Grisham adaptation, I remember as a kid thinking Amistad might've been one but it's just another historically-based legal drama. If Spielberg doesn't end up making the Mortara child biopic, A Painted House would be a good fit for him. Maybe someone like David Koepp or David Fincher could make Gray Mountain, idk, maybe it's less topical than it was after 2008.
