Isn't it insane that everything Al Gore said was an outright lie. 20 years later his false narratives have been proven to have been total bullshit and yet no one calls him out for it.

I buy into global warming slightly but purely from considering thermodynamics, i don't care about carbon dioxide ozone layer greenhouse gas drivel.
I mean we're effectively taking energy that was once laying dormant underground and we're generating heat while using it. That heat must go somewhere.

And go a step further, how many cubic meters of air-conditioned space exists on Earth right now? Imagine that all of the hot air in that volume got pushed outdoors so now the outdoors is actually even hotter on average.

an air conditioner operating in an open space is a net heat gain of zero.

there is an argument to be made about nuclear and hydrocarbon heat generation though. but since they're just boiling water and that water will cool and condense again the heat isn't being retained anywhere.

no human made structure is air tight, is the point you're missing. the cooled air leaks out and is only temporarily contained within the structure, the end result being a net heat gain loss of zero, identical to if said air conditioner was operating in an open space.

That's way more convoluted than just saying that the cooled air is eventually heated back up by energy from the sun seeping in via windows and general lack of insulation. Sealing is not the problem, you can have a perfectly sealed container but if you set it outside it will heat up inside.

>>213108747
I don't understand what your issue is. Cold air is what you have to fight to maintain due to reasons above. Warmth is the natural state due to the sun beating down on the building.

I don't know if it's "climate change" or what, but the summers are undeniably getting hotter and dryer. Here in Ontario we've barely had any rain all July and pretty much every day has been 35-40 degrees with the humidity. It was definitely not like this in the 80s and 90s

It's not that it's outright false, it's just not as helpful to focus on that when the heat leaking in from a window does more "damage" to your cool air than a poor doorframe seal as an example.
Also it's just simpler to picture the cool air molecules being heated by the sun.

If Obama really thought rising sea levels were a problem would he have spent so many millions on waterfront property?
In fact wouldn't the entire Real Estate industry change? Waterfront property is at a premium. Why are banks offering 30 year mortgages on waterfront property? Aren't they worried about the island being under water so they have nothing to repossess? Wouldn't they make waterfront property cheaper if they thought there was a risk of rising sea levels?

to pair it with the inane aside about how closed spaces will heat up when exposed to sunlight, this effectively argues that air conditioning reduces heat generation by keeping closed spaces cool.

Carbon dioxide that you exhale and that plants inhale is not the same as soot from a volcano

Volcanos are a real problem if you look At the historical record.

>"We must stop global warming"
>*the globe stops warming*
>"Uh..... we must stop climate change!"

Global warming/climate change (or whatever the kikes are calling it today) is a hoax in the sense that it is NOT man-made (like they say it is). Earth has been going through NATURAL CYCLES of warming and cooling SINCE ITS BIRTH. The Milankovitch cycles are related to these cycles of global warming and global cooling. Furthermore, ALL of the planets in the Solar System are warming up right now. This does NOT mean that pollution does not exist, because it DOES. I am NOT pro-pollution. In fact, I am VERY ANTI-POLLUTION. It's just that I REALISE that a carbon tax is NOT going to stop pollution (and so do they). Free energy exists EVERYWHERE IN UNLIMITED QUANTITIES (like Tesla said) and it is COMPLETELY CLEAN, that's why they are SUPPRESSING free energy and giving us shitty alternatives like solar power, hydro power and wind power. They are using global warming/climate change as a way to further their globalist agenda to establish a single planetary government. Remember: Global 'problems' require global 'solutions'. This is the Hegelian dialectic on a global scale. Not only do they want a single planetary government, but they also want to DE-INDUSTRIALISE THE WORLD via their global warming/climate change SCAM. Don't fall for it.

"greenhouse gas" theory is based on the surface temperature of venus, a planet that is 26 million miles closer to a giant nuclear furnace than the earth. there's also the fact mars' atmosphere is mostly CO2, and its cold, because its further away from said heat source.

>there is no "increase in energy" with air conditioners. they just move heat from one place to another.

They have an EER rating that is the rario of watts of electricity used vs the watts cooling produced (measured in BTUs). They are getting more efficient now but the process still has a lot of loss due to waste heat. In adition to the refigersnt cycke mentioned above, in a central air installation your furnave motor runs to circulate thag cooler air through the home and none of that energy is recovered. Any inefficiency in a system becomes heat. An 80% efficient fan motor means 80% of the electricity you feed it becomes mechanical energy and the other 20% becomes heat.

Just getting that electricity to the home also produces enormous waste heat due to transmission line losses. So even if its a solar farm or hydro plant, the power lines heat up as the electricity is transported from the powerplant to the place it is to be consumed. Thermal cameras are used to monitor power lines especially in the summer as the highest useage in a city comes from air conditioning. Some california fires have been caused by dry brush not being cleared from around power lines that are at or exceed their peak summer current load caused by air conditioning.

Tl;dr
If you ever meet an environmentalist who complains about the room temperature being hot in their office, kick them in the cunt.

There is no "climate". "Climate", like "gender", is a psyop term. If you use it, you have alrady surrendered.
>introduce new term in distinction to existing term ("there is a difference between weather and climate", "there is a difference between sex and gender")
>use new term to confuse people's assumptions and observations tied to old term ("the climate is getting hotter even though the weather is cold", "her gender is female even though her sex is male")
>abolish old term and take over reality completely ("there is no such thing as 'biological sex' bigot!", "look at how radically the climate is changing! it was cold just 6 months ago and now its boiling hot, this is not normal!!")

Trump would have likely never ran in 2016. American politics would have been EXTREMELY different today. The media and political landscape would be night and day.
