Most of 4chan wants superhero movies to be over with. But on /co/ and whatnot, I think the slant is more over to DC. But that's mostly because Marvel comics are (mostly) fucking garbage right now.

I'd say the best superhero is the 1978 Superman film. The score and sense of gravitas, the cinematography. It's the only superhero film which transended the line of just another superhero movie, into being one of the great American films. It's very low on the list of great Hollywood movies, but I think it is on there.
Though if the ending were better, I would place Wonder Woman 2017 at the number 1. It actually had an interesting message and point, which is unusual for that type of movie.

It's about WW1, how violence is something that's built into people, but how we can still strive for a more peaceful world.
It's a very fitting story for Wonder Woman, a big part of her characterization and goals is peace.

It would have been more impactful if it didn't end in a gaudy superhero fight sequence where Wonder Woman fights the Greek god Ares.

Nah the sequel was really dumb. I mean it's kinda fun if you just want to see colors and action, but the plot is so bad.
Steve Trevor is brought back to life by Wonder Woman wishing for him to take over some random guy's body. So he's walking around, it's Chris Pine, but he's just hijacked some random dude's life.

Then Wonder Woman solves the finale by making the entire world, unanimously give up these magic wishes they had been offered by the main villain. And they do. The entire world, literally every human.

Also Gal Gadot can't act, and while in the 2017 film she got around that by only doing the two-to-three emotions she was good at portraying, it really shows in WW1984

Spider-Man 1 or 2 or X2
I'm a DC guy but these 3 movies are better than any DC movie including TDK. Superman 1978 is overrated as hell and the guy mentioning Wonder Woman is delusional.
