I mean, it's no wonder that you'd think it's a very intented propaganda with a clear political goal and agenda in mind. Because if their normal and loyal customer base didn't dwindle then there's no logical nor rational reason whatsoever to try to change your customer base. It's actually risky, and only new companies takes risks. If you're an estsblished company with an established customer base your main policy would most likely be "if it ain't broke don't fix".
There's no possible rationale to change your customer base and that's why if we follow along this line of reasoning and occam razor these mega corporations seemingly erratical behavior, then the only conclusion you can reach is that it wants to brain wash and steer populations intently toward a certain direction. Toward their political goals and propaganda.
