>"Here Frodo, hold out your hand I'm gonna drop this ring you just watched me heat up in the fireplace in it, because I need to know whether or not there is writing that will appear if it is indeed the ring I believe it to be, and then I'll appear relieved when at first you tell me you don't see anything which of course means I actually had no idea if the ring was cool or not at all! You're certainly lucky you didn't burn your palm Frodo, you're probably now wondering why I even decided to put the ring into your hand in the first place when I already had it firmly secured in some pliers? A question for another time, now let's smoke a little weed before the Nazis get here."
Frodo, did I ever tell you about the cousin-race to the Hobbits who live on the other side of the mountains? One of them turned into a goblin thing because of this ring, but aside from that we'll never talk about them again. They were good friends.
>>213115993 (OP)I thought he didn't touch it because it would corrupt him. He simply burned the paper away. Every field
Why didn't Gollum die after he lost the ring for like 100 years?
>>213115993 (OP)To gandalf's credit, a scene before he saw Bilbo go invisible (much like that one very evil ring power he knows about).
>>213115993 (OP)>then I'll appear relieved when at first you tell me you don't see anything which of course means I actually had no idea if the ring was cool or not at all! When Frodo at first says there's no writing, Gandalf is relieved because he just figured that it was another magic ring (there are many of them in Middle Earth). When Frodo sees the writing, his original suspicion is confirmed.
>>213115993 (OP)I think he knew it was one of the rings of power so he knew it wouldn't heat up. He just didn't know it was The One Ring until the writing appeared (which was why he was initially relieved when it didn't). Also as a Maiar Gandalf literally can't touch the One Ring I think.
> Oh that? It’s just Gollum, he’s obsessed with the ring and has killed people before to get it from them, don’t worry he’s just been following us for a few days across hundreds of miles and now he’s in the dark mines with us
> Eugh shame he didn’t die a long time ago to spare him from this wretched life
> Don’t be so harsh bro just let him follow us it’ll be fine
>>213117114I'm pretty sure they hint at him killing and eating humans in the books too.
Sam was right every time by wanting to kill him.
>>213115993 (OP)I thought I told you to turn your jokes into content for youtube.
