Eh. It was okay I guess. They try to keep the dynamic of s1 but switched the conditions and timeskipped Meg and Lucky so much it never really works for more than a scene or a few.
Also the plot device is just the same but just "in reverse".

I've never even been to Australia and I knew about Upright. Anyone who actually likes /tv/ would watch things from other countries, wouldn't they? I can understand if there's a language barrier (I speak five fluently and a dozen others decently well so not generally a problem for me) but the kangaroo fuckers speak the same language as the lardgolems, moose-crashers, tea-sucking limeys and drunken Paddies so you should've been aware of it. To be fair, you're not missing much. Most of it isn't great but every now and then, something like Wentworth, Upright, Human Error, Wolf Like Me, Madam, Fresh Eggs, Last King of the Cross and probably others I'm forgetting comes along. I can probably find sites to pirate Upright S1 but it'll be those shitty ones with a bajillion pop-ups like streamtape or something. I just view-source and download the files directly (for streamtape) or find some other way to not deal with the pop-ups (for other sites)

Honestly thought S1 was nearly perfect. The only part I didn't like was that amateur fighting shit towards the end. It was genuinely moving.
