the story that aiden gillen told about shooting this scene was so funny. basically all he said was that he on set for only a couple days and nolan was winging it the entire time. he was running around with wally pfister carrying these giant, loud IMAX cameras but seemed like he had no idea what he was doing and was making a big budget student film. gillen wasn’t trying to insult or discredit him but the way he told the story was very funny because it made it sound like nolan is a dumbass.
