fuck this movie. worst one in the trilogy by far. danny boyle is the ultimate 'i am le edge indie director look at my crAzY editing!'. I thought there was something wrong with my rip because of this ugly fish eye distortion on the edge of the picture but I'm guessing it's because he filmed it with a fucking iphone? the music was garbage. the mum actress was awful, she acted more like the kid's big sister than his mum. the tonal shifts and editing what the fuck. his mum dies and then there is a straight cut to the alpha chasing them and them hiding under a grate? and the ending sequence. first we are supposed to empathise with the 'zombie mother' and then we are back to slaying them with 'le quirky gang' at the end.

the only good part was the alpha running across the bridge.

I guess that could work, id imagine it'd be easier on an island nation that doesn't have large predators. The zombies would probably not last long in places that still have super predators like bears, lions, ect.
