I've experienced every decade since the 80s and I feel like everything froze around 1998. I watched something from the 80s in the 90s I got nostalgic because just about everything from that era had been replaced despite only 10 years having passed. But when I watch a film like pic related there really isn't anything about it aesthetically that feels that different to now aside from the cars being way less gay.
