>because IW/EG scripts were based on his and Terrio's ideas. They had to steal from him in order to make a movie and those ideas got them 4.7 billion. They owe their success to Snyder, so spirtually the IW/EG success is his and that makes him the 3rd higher grossing director ever.

I love reading about soiboys online blaming Snyder for Normalman flopping. As if Gunn ever made a single successful movie outside of the MCU brand. As if all his WB movies haven't been flops. As if the studio who hired him didn't force him to majorly revise the tone of the movie upon realizing he just made GoTG again.

All the shill lines are there. If it flops, blame Snyder. If it's a hit, blame Snyder. Whatever you do, don't talk about how every trailer of this movie looked like complete ass and the movie's entire gimmick was "look Superman saves cats again". Audiences don't care about these fanboy wars. They were advertised a movie that looked too childish, cartoonish and slap stick for them to bother.

Man of Steel is a masterclass in filmmaking. Easily one of my favorite movies.
