"Revenge of the Sith" was the better movie of the prequel-trilogy.... only because it contained the part of the story that 'everyone' wanted to see... Anakin becoming Vader.. Nobody really cared about all the political shit....

Dooku's 2v1 is alright but way too short on the handicap aspect until Obi Wan gets BTFO.
All Sheev fights are just Palpatine getting ragdolled while cackling every 2 seconds until he asspulls a victory
And Obi vs Grievous is insultingly bad at being a fight but a pretty fun vehicle chase sequence.

I think the lore reason was that the force was more stronger during the prequels but because Jedi's were a dying breed the force was weaker and made dueling look heavier.

The rope swinging and the moment with the rave dancing was a bit silly but it was kino nonetheless. Still I think Dual of the Fates is superior overall.

Let's look at that Mustafar fight. Obi-Wan is mad at Anakin because he killed children; also known as "Younglings", so that we don't have to use the phrase "Killed children" in a movie made for children. And then Anakin is mad at Obi-Wan, because Obi-Wan's a meany-head.

So they fight, and they fight, and they fight more, and they keep fighting.

"It was a challenge in the Obi/Anakin fight", noted Ewan McGregor, "because 3 or 4 minutes in you get over the initial explosion of the fight, and why they're fighting."

He basically says that the character's emotional state is no longer important because the fucking fight goes on for too long.

They explain in excruciating detail just how much work went into shooting a sequence like this, and it's quite amazing, the level of difficulty and complexity. All to make a sequence that the audience will ultimately find boring, 'cause there's nothing else going on other than that they're fighting.

The point is Anakin loses. Stretching it out for so long in such an over-the-top show-off way only makes me think of one thing. I think of a little middle-aged businessman. He's short, he's balding, and he has a tiny penis so he buys a red Lamborghini to compensate. This entire sequence is the film version of compensating for lack of a story and ability to connect with the audience on an emotional level.

no one hates Return of the Siths; its only ever rage baiting. The movie is just to kino to not admire. Music, plot, cinematography, etc. its all too perfect to even be compared to any other star wars film.

It only makes sense that the prequel Jedi fight better.

The prequels have a Jedi population of about 10,000 who sit upon a thousand years of battle victories. Think about all the fighting expertise you can gain with that. In the sequels, Luke has to learn combat from an old withered frog creature in a swamp who can barely walk. No archives or histories to learn from either.

Vader's body was deteriorating, so no flashy moves from him. Ben was old.

Prequel Jedi were superior.

For me it's Luke vs. Vader in the carbonite chamber in Empire Strikes Back. Vader was like a slasher villain that would jumpscare you.
