Most people can't even comprehend the basic structures of society, they have no ideology, no economic thought at all, they don't understand politics or law, they don't know history, it's as if the world was always like that, they don't know geography either, they have no principles, they cannot fathom nuance or a scientific mindset, they don't know shit about philosophy or art, most people don't even read.

They think they do sometimes, they label themselves this or that, but they don't even know what they are talking about. It's scary because the world runs on a mediocre gag. There is a very thin layer of people who are able to discuss serious subject matter with their heads, otherwise the ordinary guy, whether it is the guy with a mop or the rich CEO or successful politicians, they just go on about life with no interest whatsoever in getting to know things.

It's a shame really, I don't want to stand tall on an ivory tower, it's just that if you try to reach out for people's intelligence, they hate it, they feel naked and vulnerable when they don't know things, so they flee from that sentiment with sheer ignorance.

I never talk down to people, I try to reward curiosity and disregard ignorance the best I can. These clickbait articles are always funny. Not mentioned : it only looks at men 22 to 27. The big change in the last decade is that entry level positions are harder to get for male college grads, but once they do get it they end up making double for less pain and stress over time.
Also women don't have this issue(their employment rates are similar to the previous rates), meaning college age men are failing to network or break into industries properly out of college. This makes sense when women get more support to network by women's groups.
Either way a degree still gives you a better outcome on average, it just sucks more in your 20s now.
