I wish “como era Gostoso o meu Frances” got restored and released by criteiron. It is the best film you never heard of, a dark comedy/ thriller about Hans Staden- a German mercenary stranded among the cannibals of Brazil.

I don’t know how to contact criterion to suggest stuff so I’ll post it here instead

I'm still up in the air about their Night Moves (1975) release. They added some blue tint to some scenes but said their reason why they have color swatched used by the cinematographer or something. I do wonder how much of these releases after everyone is dead is just Criterion using their own license to make the movie their own.

Fuck, I thought this was fake at first. I used to love Criterion Collection, but they started to get normie-fied around 2014 or so and it's been downhill from there. The cases suck ass now too, compare them to the old ones from like 2002-ish.
