How do theaters manage to stay open when the cost of going is insane?
>Haven't been to the kinoplex in probably 8 years

movie theatres accept EBT now, hence the success of mediocre "black" movies like sinners, get out, ect

They're mostly empty whenever I go to them in my very high HDI country
Streaming services were a lethal blow to the 'plex

Home theaters are getting better than ever, anti sociality is at its peak, and nobody has any money. To get an ass in a movie theater seat you need a great deal or a truly great film.

Surge ticket pricing for specific movies, Superman on its opening week was priced at $19.27 for a standard ticket for example. Increased prices for concessions. Slop merchandise. More focus on a "premium" experience as well as subscription models. Many cinemas have bars now as well. I worked in theaters for 9 years and saw this pivot in real time. They care less about getting you to come once a week and more about promoting shit like Regal Unlimited and maintaining gimmick screens like 4DX. Believe it or not the 4DX showings would sell out for even the most retarded slop movies. General audiences enjoy a mediocre novelty.

After seeing The Last Jedi in theaters I will never reward these kikes with spending money on them again. They killed Luke Skywalker. I will not forgive the way they cucked him. I watch movies only by piracy now

Went to see F4 the other day. Its was a matinee. I spent 16 bucks on the ticket. 9 dollars for a soda. 25 dollars. That's how they're staying open

Clearly unrelated, but I had to look this up, as an Australian, and the first hit was an ad for an Australian training program. What the fuck kind of business advertises using language like 'become a hot cunnie'?

I'm back on Regal Unlimited
They're not doing refillables this year because too many niggers try bringing in cups full of mold, goddammit. Instead you just buy a discount for large popcorn and drink that comes out to same price as the refillables. Anyway I'm planning on going maybe once per week and spending about $10 each time

I saw an ad for a women's jeans company recently whose entire slogan was 'dumper approved.'
Fuck yeah, I want to be a hot cunnie with a big fat dumper.

You can use your EBT card to buy the onions milk at concession now. You can also use your race card to get in free.

There's a lot of people still going to theaters where i live. I usually have to go in the middle of the week when it's cheaper and a bit emptier

but are the theater full of other 'thrifty' people? There used to be dollar theaters in my area growing up...but you'd get the type of crowds you wouldn't want

My local cinema in Australia did a massive renovation in 2018, adding six new screens. And only earlier this year they converted their biggest screen to IMAX. I guess they've got no choice but to roll with the punches and hope for the best.

Me and the wife go like maybe 2 times a year and only with the costco passes we get.
It's barely worth it with that.
