Generally enjoyed it
Had no problem with the ending
People who do are bitter the evil girlboss died, if it was made at a less polarizing time nobody would've cared

Season 1 & 2 were masterful
But even the GRRM seasons lose steam when the Boltons are introduced.

There aren't many movies you can adequately translate into a video game

to be fair to GRRM, by season 3, he stopped really doing much for the show.

I hate that my opinion that I hate the show gets mixed up by normies as this reason. I didn't hate that girlboss died - I hate that they had her turn evil in the course of 4 episodes instead of the season or two build it deserved.

I don't either, it should have been built up over entire show and should have been much more morally gray.

So I have a theory they changed the last few episodes in editing. In the original script, dany has to blow though human shields in the Red Keep to get to Cersei and that sets off the wildfire and burns down the city, they changed that to the quackery that we got.

Killing civilians to stop a war isn't the same as burn down an entire city because bells.

Also Cersei wasn't a actual threat. If it was Faegon, this would have made an actual compelling threat.

I miss it. The last great monoculture event, we won't get something like it again.

Damn why did they change that? I didn't have a problem with Dany's turn and I actually think they built it up OK (although a lot of things in the final season were really rushed, the character traits were there from early on) it's just that the way they wrote and handled the actual moment of the massacre of King's Landing was completely retarded and out of character, it just didn't make any sense. It could've made sense for her to massacre civilians if SOMETHING triggered it but not for literally no reason at all, the moment just didn't work

yeah it's very much like LOST
once you catch up to the fact that everything was bs and there was no point to any of if, it's unwatchable

once you catch up that GOT is just the "tee-hee I'm killing the protagonist" again and again and again with no real coherent arc for anything, it's over. The fact that it's all soaked in that lame "medieval europe was grey and degenerate" kikery with stilted dialogue pushes it to unwatchable.

i donno didn't make sense to me. they spent all this time building her up as having character, it makes sense if she has to compromise it over time to "play the game" but not just to become a psychopath.

the ending was the best bit you moron

it was the 3 seasons leading up to it that were enfuriatingly bad
