You should check out Eddington.
Despite being made by a stereotypical Milennial New York Jew it's a surprisingly nuanced, grounded, and realistic take on 2020 and post-2020 small-town America without any of that dumb trite shit in it. It's a surprisingly biting and intelligent satire about the chaos of the time that sharply condemns it. It's likely the type of film that will never get made again for that reason given it also received a hostile reaction from establishment interests here in the U.S.
Also, it's not burgerpunk; but have you ever seen the Straight Story? I think you'd find it fantastic.
