It's basically Buffy meets Dawson's Creek meets X-files. Episodic teen-drama with a monster of the week and an overarching mythology that slowly develops into more comic books stuff. First 3 seasons are legit, stays decent until 5/6, then everyone moves to Metropolis and they try to adapt more DC characters on a shoestring budget plus they keep recounting everything

It's tween X-Files. As is usually the case, earlier seasons are better.

I remember watching it during summer break because it was on every night. They might've even showed 2-3 episodes a night. I really liked it.

I think it is pretty good for what it is. The first season is mostly monster of the week then Lionel Luthor is the villain for the next two seasons and those are the best. I enjoyed the whole show but the last 5 seasons are on a lower budget and the story gets fucked as is inevitable in a show like this that goes on too long.

It is a show for teenagers and it shows but I enjoyed it as an adult. A good show to watch with your kid.

Absolutely worth it for that 00s soul.
People usuall praise early seasons, but if you enjoy characters and especially the best Clark and Lois couple in live-action, later seasons will do as good.
In fact i think latest seasons became better like fine wine more than early seasons.
