I didn't sign up for feels like this!

Spike is inducted into the passage of zombie hunting to become a man. Spike rejects his father/old world Christian life on the island after seeing the lies of his father. Tone is all over the place and is very off-putting. First third of the film is okay but very video-gamey and pointless. There seems to be no good reason to leave the island just to come back with a frisbee. There were way too many fake-outs where you think a character is going to be killed which made me just not care about consequences. Also decides two thirds in that it doesn't just want to be a mindless zombie film (which is fine) and needs to have some sort of meaning so they kill off the mum immediately because she has cancer and do a weird thing with her skull. Overall the weakest of the 28 films which are both meh and overrated anyway.
