Voice actors all suck and are all just hack/frauds doing slop voices that they think are cool. They all do the exact same theater fag/anime style voice for every role and cant actually act with range the way that a voice actor can.

Metal Gear Solid 5 is a great example of this. I loved those games, but Keifer Sutherland brought such a level of intensity and gravity with his voice acting to the role that it became definitive in my mind. I liked David Hayter, but when you compare them, hes just B league doing a goofy "gruff soldier man" voice.

This is why I love original run King of the Hill.

You have Stephen Root and Brittany Murphy who were big movie actors who were also exceptional voice actors, and then other talented voice actors with very specific voices (like Pam Adlon as Bobby, or Judge himself as Hank). Then as the series was at its peak, near-weekly celebrity cameos. Probably the best voice acting overall in TV history.

I'm going to binge the new season today, but the voice acting is what really wowed me on my re-watch of the original run. With so many familiar voices no longer with us, I'm expecting that part of the series to suffer.
