There is no hope in dating anymore.

I went out solo to an upscale bar this past weekend as a “fuck it” kind of way to try and put myself out there. I am 37 years old and getting lonely. Well I was sitting at the bar, having a good conversation with the barhop, and a group of three women who were younger looking came in. After about 20 minutes of sitting there, sweating, I worked up the nerve to ask the one in the middle out on a date. I mostly chose her because I did overhear her discussing with her friends about how there were no good quality men out there. Well it went down a little like this, “Hi, im anon, and I think you are really pretty. I thought I heard you saying something about being single, id really like to ask you to dinner”

She then says: “Yeah, im single, but im not DESPERATE”

Her and her friends then burst out laughing IN MY FACE. I wanted to fucking kill myself right there in front of them. I cried the entire walk back home, top 10 most embarrassing things ive ever had to endure

Reread what you said when you introduced yourself and always remember that doesn't work. You just have to find a signal to approach and then just talk to them sorta like a bro or like you don't care, but with some charm. Never ever cold approach and never approach a group.
