It lost its A B storyline structure that fit so well together, and I had more interest in watching Bobby navigate life then I did with Hank and his "I'm against it, but ill be for it by the end of the episode because I just need to get with the times."

All of the stuff cut is for season 2, so Willow will be pregnant, Connie and Bobby will sleep with each other, and Bobby will compete on King of the Grill.

This has always been an issue of koth. Luane was all over the place, they couldn't decide if she was competent woman that was naive(being a competent mechanic) or just a ditzy retard. Bill had a breakthrough moment every season and by the next episode he reset back to status quo.

Bobby and Joseph are the only characters I’ve liked so far. And Boomhauer. I like that Joseph has absorbed a lot of Dale.
I kind of wish Bobby and Joseph were taller. Hank is supposed to be 6’2 and Cotton was stated to be 6’4 before he left for the war. Maybe it’s just the way people are drawn. But Chang and the Mexican worker are taller than Bobby. And Joseph was over 6’ tall in middle school.

Also personally I think a lot of people were more over-aged for only an 8 year time span. Oh, and not all of the modern jokes are hitting with me. But overall solid B-
