This series was the epitome of hack writing. Say what you want about Tarantino, Nolan or any other big name director, this shit was justt 6 seasons of nonsense.

The show should have been entirely hijinks and lawyer stuff like the first season, or entirely soap opera crime drama like the last. The tone was all over the place and it's obvious they had no idea how they were getting to the point they had to get it.

people on the left of the bell curve love Gilligan's stuff because of the cool over the top scenes, people on the right love it because of the excellent writing, character development, editing, the absence of moral faggotry and the fact that he's not afraid to get completely unrealistic in the name of entertainment

It's a good show while you're watching it but when you think back to it there's not a lot that sticks out as particularly great.
