>>213407160>>213407305>>213407337Being a peacekeeper means also being a protector when the duty calls. They protected the Republic and its people from the hordes of mindless murderous robots, genocidal maniacs warlords, corporate overlords and Sith Lords. It's their holy duty. In fact, that's the whole point that the clones were people, because the Jedi could then connect with them and influence them, teach them, help them, form bonds with them:
>GEORGE LUCAS: The Jedi won't lead droids. Their whole basis is connecting with the life force. They'd just say, 'That's not the way we operate. We don't function with nonlife-forms." So if there is to be a Republic army, it would have to be an army of humans.Because that's what the Jedi do.
War is not good. War is not desirable. Wars do not make one great, as Yoda said. They did not start that war. It was engineered by Palpatine and Dooku. But sometimes, it's a duty. It's a Jedi's duty to protect those in need. And they answered the call. Jedi's only fault was caring too much and not being omnipotent and omniscient.
You are really dense or try too hard.
