It's literally a lack of willpower (aka laziness) that prevents them from making the change necessary to better themselves, which is to just stop fucking eating. They are people who have a constant need to feel good and lack the endurance to do things that don't immediately gratify them, even when it's things that would improve their lives. This is the part that I don't understand. I used to smoke and the moment that I realized that it wasn't enjoyable anymore, I stopped. I have an addictive personality and know how I react to addictive substances. Reminding myself that even smoking a cigarette might feel good in the moment, it wasn't worth how it makes me feel afterwards and it picking up good habits like running made it even easier to stop, since now I care more about getting better at running than smoking (can't let that shit effect my VO2 max)

Does it not concern people that there are enough of these whales to make multiple seasons of this show? And these are just the extreme cases - there are still plenty of fat fucks in the 250 - 400 pound range that are equally as disgusting but are still mobile.
