I don't think I've posted my musings on this before (so I don't have anything to link to) and this might seem like speculation based purely on the news, but ever since the Megalopolis trailer came out I've really been thinking that he'd die within 1-2 years of its release. Think about it:

>he sells his wineries to finance it, suggesting he's not planning for the future
